Sia betul-betul penat hari ini. Langsung tiada masuk office. Ada masuk tapi sekejap2 ja. Hari ini, 23/10 ada 3 celebration di tempat kerja sia. First, House / Office Blessing. Second, Fr. Jimsy's 13th Sacerdotal Anniversary and lastly, auntie Irene's 48th birthday. Sia rasa semua guest yang kami jemput ada kecuali 2 orang la. Anyway, meriah juga. Semua pun enjoy. Good food and drink. Sia alim pula hari ini sebab teda minum wine. Hehehe.. sibuk di office kan sebab Fr. Aloy request untuk hantar greetings and pictures to Fr. Jimsy yang ada di Rome by email. Video pun sia ada send and upload it in YouTube. Bisuklah sia upload gambar-gambar. Mau tidur suda.. Nguarhhhhh.. 

Sia kehujanan...

Uhuk uhuk... batuk konon. Hehehe.. hari ni sia duty di SJP khas untuk Prenuptial Inquiry. Sia assist Fr. Aloysius di sana. Tidak juga brapa banyak couple yang datang. Ada ni satu pasangan datang dari jauh, sampai-sampai saja terus serbu kerani di office. Lepas tu tiada bawa apa-apa dokumen yang original ataupun salinan. Tup tup kasi salah lagi Katekis dorang tidak kasi tau apa-apa sama tidak suru bawa apa-apa dokumen. Sedangkan kalau mau jumpa Fr, mesti bawa original cert sama salinan. Alalalala.. punya la sia panas sekejap sebab dorang macam tidak mengerti ni. Suda kasi explain yang dorang tidak akan kena interview kalau tidak ikut Kursus Pra Perkahwinan. Alasan dorang, sapa mau jaga anak, teda kereta mau ikut and ada lagi beberapa yg sia tidak begitu dengar sebab auntie Irene yang handle dorang. Overall, ok la semua couples hari ini cuma itu saja la yang teda ikut PMC. Time sia on my way balik Limbahau, hujan lagi. Nasib la sia ada bawa payung. Kalau teda tu, melayang trus RM3 sebab minta hantar van naik pigi office. Sampai ofis, langsung teda orang. Smua balik p lunch. Sia lunch sorang saja la di ofis. Sekian saja la for the time being. Drinking straws - Dangerous?

My friend, Beatrice forwarded this email to me this morning. After reading it, I think checking straws before using it should be my habit. Kotor ba tu ada telur lipas. Ewww..

Horrible story of mine goes back to year 2005 March.

I ordered a Club Sandwich and a Sprite in a restaurant somewhere in Manila . When I finished half of the sandwich I sipped a sprite. But it didnt taste like an ordinary sprite I used to drink. So I sipped once more, but it still tasted the same. It tasted like a sprite mixed with some kind of oil. I called the clerk and asked him if the sprite was expired. He said it was just delivered today. So I asked him to taste it. Then he also found that something was wrong with it.

Both of us were wondering for a while. Then I got to look inside the straw. There were a lot of tiny black round things that looked like eggs. So I cut the middle of the straw lengthwise to have a better look. Yuck. There were a lot of tiny black round things in it. I suppose they were eggs of cockroach. About 1000 eggs were there. Then I began to check all the other straws in the straws case one by one. Almost all of them contained black eggs that seemed to be either the cockroach eggs or excretions.

After the incident I began to check all the straws in the restaurants and fast food chains that I had gone to. Almost of all the straws contained the same black eggs. Especially the darker the colors of straws, the more black eggs were found. In black straws, extreme amount of black eggs were found.

It was found out that it's because the cockroaches live (hatch eggs and excrete) in the dark places.

* 80% or more restaurants in the malls use red or black colored straws .

SO NEXT TIME.... BE CAUTIOUS... CHECK THE STRAW BEFORE YOU PLACE IT INSIDE THE DRINKS.

Office baru...

In my earlier post, sia ada bagitau yang sia sudah pindah office kan. Sekarang mau tunjuk-tunjuk dulu office baru. Hehehe.. 

Ok juga kan? Tidak crowded

Tengah cari information. 

Ini komputer untuk sia buat kerja sia. 

Wireless USB. Jimat space kan. Tidak perlu sambung-sambung dengan network cable. :)

Sejuknya.. and confuse~

Sekarang ni sia tgh blogging dari office. Mau tunggu masa mau pulang kan.. So, apa lagi ambil kesempatan lah. Hujan saja sekarang ni. Pagi mendung sumtimes ujan, petang hujan..lebat lagi tu. Pastu sejuk lagi. Malas mau on aircond. Pakai kipas saja lah. Tadi, lebih kurang jam 9 pagi lebih, ada satu couple, maybe around 70+ datang jumpa sia untuk minta cari sijil perkahwinan dorang. Punyala susah mau cari sebab information yang dorang bagi pun sedikit. Tahun perkahwinan pun dorang boleh lupa. Sia rasa-rasa ada juga satu jam lebih sia cari-cari dalam buku daftar. Surrender sia. Pastu sia minta tolong dari staff SJP. Sama juga. Tidak kena jumpa. Nampaknya, sia kena struggle la satu minggu ni. Maybe kena re-check lagi la. Aiya..

Peace? Mmmm.. maybe la kot. Heheheh.. Sia pernah juga tanya sama mama sia dari mana dia dapat nama IRENE. Then dia bagitau, dengar tu nama dari radio. Adakan penyanyi kadazan nama dia Irene. Sepatutnya nama sia Marilyne or Merilyne or.. tidak tau macam mana spelling yang mama sia mau tp dia bagitau dia mau nama sia Marilyn/Merilyne. Wah.. kalau Marilyn/Merilyne, double M la tu cuz bestfriend sia pun bernama Merilyne.
